La Jolla California House For Sale
A charming La Jolla, California house for sale today because it’s officially spring now and the entrance to this house is lovely to look at with blooming flowers flowing over the driveway stone columns. The home has several walk out doors to the patios, an upper terrace sitting area, lovely pool, and is a few blocks from the beach. The front view barely shows that it is a 3-story home with five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and 4,600 square feet.
There is not a lot of other information about it listing-wise, so this will be an eye-candy, window shopping house day. The listing for the La Jolla house for sale says:
“This is a very special offering. Seldom does one find a residence of this size and substance with such charm and character on a spacious, pool-size lot in the much-loved Barber Tract.” Beach-Barber Tract is – “The coastal section from Windansea Beach to the Village. A few shops and restaurants along La Jolla Boulevard.” – wikipedia
A few years ago, La Jolla was considered to have the highest home prices in the nation with an average four bedroom home listed at 2 million. Today’s lovely to look at house is priced at $3,995,000 which is out of my price range, but it’s free to house peep.
I like this La Jolla, California home’s curb appeal, the multiple arched doorways in the home leading to the patio, the comfy window seat, the seashell mirror on the dining room wall, the upper terrace off the master bedroom with view of the ocean, the large pool, and the beach that is just a few blocks away. Some lucky new owner may soon call this lovely-to-look-at house their home.
If you want to know more about this home, the address is 7254 Olivetas Ave, La Jolla, CA (a community of San Diego) and is listed at Beach Cities Real Estate linked below.

Clever, I like that line Dee!
Oh lucky you Dee to be going to San Diego. Have a sunny time and let me know if you take a tour or two of houses. Thanks for the visit.
Hmmm ’50 Shades of Sold’ perhaps?
Typically, I’m not a fan of posts where there are more photos than words but I’m going to make an exception for this one. Oh em gee that house is fantastic. I think our decision to vacation in San Diego in June was just cemented. I may have to schedule a tour.
Where you…what? I am going to have to integrate this kind of drama into a post now. Thanks for stopping and leaving such a fantastic comment.
“Lovely’ doesn’t do this one justice. “Gorgeous’ is more like it. I can see myself having a perfectly cooked egg, fresh orange juice, and checking my stock portfolio on the sun-kissed master balcony, then going down for a dip in the blue, whilst waiting for my young lover to arrive and call me back to the patio, where we ………
It is so cool that your husband surfed in Windansea! You two have led the most interesting life together.
Thanks Linda, because you are the expert in Charming!
I went to college in San Diego and ended up living there for 12 years. We lived in Mission Beach, just south of La Jolla, for much of that time. La Jolla was always one of our favorite bike rides and we often rode through that neighborhood. Windansea was one of my husband’s favorite surf spots. We dreamed of living there one day.
