The Most Unusual Real Estate Listing Ever Is In Texas
I love to share unusual houses! There is nothing unusual about the exterior of this home, but inside is the most unusual real estate listing you have to see to believe. The house really is beautiful with custom wood trim and stone fireplaces, but oh my gosh you must see the home decor.
The house in Richmond Texas listing says: “Unbelievable value for this custom home on almost 2 acres on Jones Creek. Every bell and whistle was added by the builder. The auto gate leads you to a circle drive or back to a 4 car garage.”
Do you see the man standing guard at the gate? He may be better than any real security system. Yipes! This is just the beginning so get ready to enjoy this most unusual real estate listing home decor you’ve ever seen.
A lot of art up and down the walls and I see a man at the top of the stairs watching. I believe the owner is an artist especially a mannequin artist as you will see.
Formal Living room has “dental molding that is a work of art, built-ins on two walls and hardwood floors.” It is hard to find the floor and the shelves are perfect for the avid collector.
A nice open kitchen, plenty of cabinets and sink in the island too. Looks like a permanent guest sitting at the bar who did not remove his hat. How rude!
A cute little baker man looks like he is serving goodies. I don’t like the lizard above the door, that has to go.
Dancing on the ceiling in The Study. Help! This may be the most cluttered room yet, we shall see. The patio doors lead out to the patio and pool. Look at all the books on the bookshelves. I have to say I wish I had book shelves like this in my house, just not the rest of the stuff.
The formal dining room. Oh gosh yes, there is a lady standing by the china cabinet too and lots of STUFF! The ceiling is beautiful as are the hardwood floors.
This master bedroom has a lighted cove ceiling with double rows of crown molding and
plantation shutters on all the windows. I would not get any sleep here with someone sitting at the end of my bed and that man with his hands on his hips looking on.
Up the stairs, someone is waiting to welcome you and all the art on the walls. The wainscoting and stairs are beautiful if you can try to picture this home without all the clutter and artwork.
More bedrooms:
Okay so I love the vaulted ceiling and windows and the rest of the artful items strewn about have me hyperventilating for law and order.
A downstairs bedroom that has its own bath per the listing. I’m speechless.
The art studio wall of books and a nice library ladder. The naked lady wrapped in what looks like mink stoles is stealing the show here if that is even possible.
Game Room is upstairs which is different as they are usually in the basement or lower level. Another upside down mannequin that boggles my mind to no end.
The Family Room has a nice wall of windows overlooking the pool and property. I guess there is room to sit, yes I am sure of it.
Bathrooms:
Really nice bathroom but why does that fella have to stand there in his bath attire. He’s a show-off!
A garage apartment has a full bath with a maid that won’t get out-of-the-way to use the sink, but at least there IS a much-needed maid.
Breakfast room
The listing says the fish tank stays, but not the fish and the bookshelf has a granite top. It really is cozy room and I spy a butler awaiting your order.
A lovely pool that is “a little messy because of the beautiful crepe myrtle and the pool comes with a pool sweep to keep it clean.”
It really is a well-built home that has been loved by its artistic owner looking for a new family to start their home adventure with it.
5 bedrooms, 5 full and 1 half bath and $1,275,000.
