Chef themed kitchen decor in the home is popular with professional chefs trained to cook with high-grade range tops, ovens and tools. The same is true for hobby chefs whose passion is cooking.
Themed kitchens are not new of course. Country themed kitchens, beach kitchens, and 1950’s retro kitchens are some popular examples. I did a fun coffee themed kitchen decor post that is coffee-lovers adore.
This is a look at chef themed kitchen decor designs. The list of must haves for chefs are stainless steel back splash for protection and easy cleanup. Large industrial-sized double ovens and range tops. Utensil racks hung against the wall above ovens for easy reach in a busy chef kitchen. Specialty wood fired pizza oven. Subzero refrigerator and freezer. Two to three sinks and large islands. Custom-sized range hoods.
A water spigot over range top to fill large pots so you don’t have to carry them across the kitchen. This helps to save time watching a large pot fill with water. It’s a definite safety feature too for when water spills that could cause a slip and fall….whoops.
Large pot racks above islands for easy storage and choice. Lots of storage space. Bright natural light and pendant lighting hanging over work areas.
Chef themed kitchen decor can be beautiful as well. Here is Jeremy Renner’s kitchen in the mansion he built and sold. Large double islands with three sinks and dreamy double La Cornue Chateau ranges (the crown jewel) in soft brown. A mirrored range hood and plenty of counter space and storage.
Industrial style chef themed kitchen with the water spigot and utensil rack. Stainless steel restaurant style chef themed kitchen decor that is the premium work horse.
Specialty wood-fired pizza oven in the corner and extra storage in the island cabinets.
Great kitchen example for subzero refrigerator and freezer. I am impressed by the little windows above refrigeration units too. This is a thoughtful kosher kitchen design with two sinks, two dishwasher, two ovens, separate counters; preferably not touching each other. A wonderful layout if you can afford it as are all of these chef-themed kitchens anyone would be happy to own, cook or no cook.
What’s your favorite kitchen appliance or tool you can’t live without? Lately mine is the colander because I am constantly rinsing fruit and vegetables and draining pasta.
