    Hey Sue Pekarek,

    Great share !!

Its been great to read such post.Lately, we’ve seen heaps upon heaps of micro homes crop up with all sorts of eye-popping attributes, whether it’d be glam interiors, wildly low budgets (how does $489 sound?), or major eco-friendly cred. But sometimes, the best tiny house is the one that’s all ready to go, with the floor plan and systems all figured out.

  4. I’ll be getting married at the start of the fall and I’m already looking at places that my wife and I can move into. We may not live near the ocean, but these can still give me an idea of what to look for. I hope that we can find something nice and cozy like the wood cottage as our first place to live.

  5. Hi Drew, these are great little places to rent and relax for sure.

  6. A little house vacation is the best way to enjoy the outdoors and find peace within yourself. This is a great example of that. Thanks for the ideas!

  7. Hi Stephen, the Silo Studio cottage is very popular. I like your vision of Gandalf smoking his pipe idea.

  8. Stephen Juarez says:

I’d love to live on the second and third house. It seems like a place where Gandalf and his friends would chill out and smoke his pipe. I love the fantasy-book vibe in it. Awesome post Sue!

  9. I love both house but number two is truly amazing. Oh my! It’s a great experience to spend a night or two inside of it. Awesome.

I like the second little house because it looks just like something out of a storybook. That would certainly be a unique yet very fun way to spend a vacation. Thanks for the post!

  11. Thanks ARod, I went on vacation with a childhood friend and stayed in a little cottage like the beach house, but it was on a little lake.

  12. I wonder if Wendy is close to the first house. The second house looks so cute and darling perfect for a honeymoon couple thanks so much for sharing Sue.

  13. Hi Sarah – Yep, it’s all I really need – just a little cottage. Your kids would love to stay here overnight for sure.

  14. Oh gosh that is so cool you have been there. The main house sounds intriguing too. I hope you get a chance to get some photos of it for sure!

  15. When in saw that the treehouse was in Massachusetts, I had a feeling I knew where it was. Sure enough, I not only know where it is, but I’ve been to Santerelli. About two years ago I did a post about the main house there, which was a museum. Not sure if it still is, but it’s adorable! Thatched roof, shutters, stone…the whole enchilada. I have not seen he treehouse though, but now I just might take a ride there to see it (it’s about 45 minutes away).

So cute! What can I say….. if I didn’t have little kids, I would go live in a place like that treehouse cottage!

  17. Thank you for the encouragement Heather. It looks like a real-life Keebler Elf house to me.

  22. They need to upgrade their shelf stock to fulfill our desires.

  23. Not on the shelf, but maybe for a special order item. Probably would be cheaper than going to a craftsman. I myself would probably attempt to make it, cry, stomp my feet, and then decide to go buy one. 🙂

  24. Thank you Erica, that means the world to me. I also have never forgotten this cottage, the window boxes, shutters and arbor and deck. I wonder if they sell whimsical banisters like the little yellow cottage at Home Depot or Lowes… I have to look..probably not.

  25. Thanks for the reminder about B&Bs. I think we have one in town here…I have to go find it.

  26. You and Del are perfect candidates for staying at one of these little houses for a quick getaway.

  27. These are truly adorable houses. I am always amazed by the cute places you go visit. Thanks for sharing.

  28. Very cute indeed. My hubby loves staying at B&B type places. It’s always nice and so very quaint to stay at cottages instead of huge hotels with no charm whatsoever.

  29. I am in love with them all, but I think that little yellow cottage is my new home inspiration! I love the yellow with black accents and the adorable arbor! Great picks Sue!
