As dreams go, three dormers on top, abundant columns, and an across the front of the home front porch and wide entrance steps makes for “undeniable curb appeal” as seen on houseplansandmore.

A fan window above the front door, oh yes please, completes the dream. What I love about this Ericson Southern Plantation house plan is that it can be for different house styles like a cabin or cottage plan where I found it. A Ranch style house, Farmhouse, Cape Cod, New England, Colonial, Traditional, and Waterfront house styles.

Some great decorating and design ideas are also another reason I like the Ericson Southern Plantation house plan. Picture perfect Ericson Southern Plantation home with three bedrooms and two full baths. The homey great room with vaulted ceilings has a built-in entertainment center and fireplace shown below. Not shown but also included with the house plan is walk-in shower, double-bowl vanity, whirlpool tub in the master bath and walk-in closet. I am staring at the fan window above the front door.

Loving the golden wood floors. It is nice to see a pattern on the wall that adds texture and interest to the layout. Great house plan with the arched doorways. This is a bayed breakfast area with a nice view of the fireplace in the great room. This is a Cabin and Cottage style.

An elegant formal dining room. I’ll take the chest, mirror and table and chairs because I like the curves, engravings and the soft brown tone of the wood. I often don’t have the confidence to mix stripes and patterns and they do it so well here with the wallpaper and dining room window treatments. This is a Cape Cod and New England style.

I am especially fond of the white fireplace design, the overstuffed comfortable chairs and sofa and 2 column elegant table that doesn’t obstruct the views. This is a Traditional house plan style.
