Equestrian Estate has a Secret in the Basement
EQUESTRIAN ESTATE
Want to see a secret buried down in the basement of this Equestrian Estate in Arizona? Here’s your ticket to ride because the basement is made out of vintage railroad cars, believe it or not.
Right now, railroad cars are set up for entertainment. The listing says the basement space is the perfect place for “preppers.”
What’s a Prepper Sue? Preppers are survivalists who stock up for emergencies and build underground shelters just in case the world goes mad.
THE EQUESTRIAN ESTATE SITS ON ALMOST 5 ACRES IN CAVE CREEK, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA.
The house has “western charm with contemporary flair. Room for 25 horses with covered stalls, arenas, tack sheds” and more. It used to be a B&B so the “kitchen is commercial grade with hickory cabinets.”
THE MASTER BEDROOM OVERLOOKS THE POOL.
BUT THIS IS WHAT i WANTED TO SHOW YOU. THE BASEMENT MADE OUT OF VINTAGE RAILROAD CARS!
I just was not grasping the concept until I saw this photo. There really are old railroad cars buried in this basement. I wonder how many make up the basement. I tried counting and came up with 4, plus there’s a small bathroom that I didn’t share. Take a gander at the old wood plank flooring.
There are no other houses with basement’s made of old railroad cars, are there? This is an original, one-of-a-kind place to live.
5 bedrooms, 5 baths and $727,885.
