~ Cottage Gets Noticed by Ladies Home Journal ~
A Tiny House Dream Cottage I did a post about in April has been noticed and is receiving some special attention. Suzanne, the owner of the tiny cottage, let me know that Ladies Home Journal online contacted her for permission to feature her cottage for sale on Tiny House Listings. Her tiny dream cottage can been seen on Ladies Home Journal under their Style/Decorating Department entitled Dream Cottages On The Web here.
Ladies Home Journal Magazine is also featuring these same little cottages in their June issue on page 26 titled “A Girl Can Dream, Can’t She?”, where Ladies Home Journal asks “Do you fantasize about owning a sweet little weekend cottage?” and says “Quick! They’re going fast.” Of course I had to run out and buy their June issue.
Suzanne included me in the excitement of her home being featured by Ladies Home Journal. She writes:
“Wow, Here it is. My little Dream Cottage featured in Ladies Home Journal. I’m honored to be in such illustrious company.”
It must be so exciting to have your home for sale and suddenly be contacted by an illustrious magazine asking for permission to feature your home on their website and in their magazine. Suzanne is of course elated, and hopes the special attention will help get her home noticed by a buyer soon as she is ready to move to another
“very sweet little place.” Hmm… I hope she shares her new place with me after the move!

Tiny House Cottage Is A Gardner’s Delight
Tiny house is a dream cottage, gardeners delight located in a private community called Discovery Bay Resort on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. The tiny house is 400 square feet including solid wood interior panel doors, tile back splash in the kitchen (yes, there is a kitchen in the 400 square feet), one bedroom, bathroom with tub and shower, two sky lights, deck and is beautifully landscaped and perfect for gardeners! The tiny house cottage is bordered by a forest on one side and evergreens for privacy on the other, as seen below.
