This lovely Victorian house is for sale in Janesville, Wisconsin where Paul Ryan, the Vice Presidential candidate is from, so I thought to be timely and stalked out a house from Janesville. It’s listed as a historic home in the courthouse district.

I am thinking about how each piece of gingerbread and/or gable decoration on Victorian house styles costs a pretty penny. I am considering the detailed mill work like on this older home.

The gingerbread under the porch reminds me of curtains framing a window. I’ve seen many pink houses and I don’t always like them. The colors used on this home are pink-a-lish and painted perfectly.

I think it’s a nicely decorated Victorian. Listing says it has stainless steel appliances, central vac (did not expect that), main floor laundry, intercom system (did not expect that), and tile and marble floors, although these photos don’t show those, but does show the wood floors.
