Do you want to live in a modern medieval castle? This one in Sedro-Woolley, Washington has an authentic castle stone exterior nestled in a pristine forest. Complete with your own private footbridge. Castles need a forest and bridge to be a fairy tale castle.
There is a castle in my town I toured many years ago. It had a neat winding staircase and nice grounds but was dark and damp.
I like the look of this modern medieval castle though. There are lots of beautiful windows to look out upon the acreage.
Listed on Trulia for Coldwell Banker Bain, the castle has 2,972 square feet, three bedrooms, and a full and partial bathroom. Abundant wildlife for robin hood. A creek meandering to a waterfall that leads to a natural swimming pool for treasure hunting. Well, they don’t actually say there is treasure hunting.
Modern medieval castle has an old world style.
Built in 1997, it has 3 stories. Listed for $895,000 on 20 acres, the price has come down from earlier this year when the asking price was well over a million. Beautiful round towers and arched windows. The door is copper-clad and has a little dragon at the doorbell. A crest is displayed within the stone walls.
It’s easy to imagine maidens and knights crossing the bridge.
Could it be any more picturesque? I’m looking at the medieval castle stone balcony and arch-shaped doorway entrance.
